Notice of Intent:
The Town of Portugal Cove – St. Philip’s intends to participate in one or more procurements conducted by Canoe Procurement Group of Canada and Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador between January 1st, 2023 and December 31st, 2023. A request for supplier qualifications is a procurement method of establishing a Pre-Qualified Supplier List the Town may use to quickly procure particular services. New respondents who did not respond to the original opportunity and who meet the necessary qualifications may be added to the list upon request at any time.

Broad Cove Trail Development
Council did not call for bids under the Public Procurement Agency’s framework as per the following exception clauses.
- Section 2 of the Public Procurement Act determines the Grand Concourse Authority to be a public body.
- Section 6 of the Public Procurement Regulations state an Open Call is not required when the commodity is available from a public body.
- Section 11 does not require a Limited Call for procurement amgounst Public Bodies.

St. Philips Storm Water Infiltration
The Town was accepting bid submissions until November 8, 2022 at 2:30 p.m., and was awarded to WSP E&I Canada.
The scope of the study is to review the existing system, determine problem locations, provide solutions to mitigate infiltration of stormwater into the sanitary sewer system, prepare a shapefile that includes manhole cover locations, rim elevations, pipe sizes and invert elevations and locations, and provide a final report for the Town. Estimate Completion September 2023.
