Celebrate the season with us in Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s! We are very excited to offer a range of activities for the whole family! Check out the pages below for details on each event:

2025 Holiday Events:

Tree Lighting (Tuesday, December 2nd, 2025)
Breakfast with Santa (Sunday, December 7th, 2025)
Christmas Parade (Sunday, December 7th, 2025)
Seniors Christmas Concert (Wednesday, December 10th, 2025)
Seniors Bus Tour (Thursday, December 11th, 2025)
Christmas Cheer Project (Deadline to submit Friday, December 12th, 2025)

Celebrate the festive season with the Portugal Cove – St. Philip’s Lions Club. We invite children and youth to help spread Christmas cheer and create Christmas Cards for Seniors! Cards can be dropped off to the Town Hall Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, with a deadline of Friday, December 12th. Council, staff and community groups will then deliver them to seniors in the community.

Join us for a holly jolly morning of laughs, luck, and festive cheer! Instead of playing for cash, we’ll be giving away useful household goodies, treats, and surprise seasonal prizes – all wrapped in the spirit of the season. $5.00 per book of cards – first come, first serve at the door. Don’t forget your dabber!
