Discretionary Use Notice – Personal Service (Office) – 2-6 Emberleys Road


The Town of Portugal Cove – St. Philip’s is in receipt of an application to establish an office (online
shop) as a home occupation from an existing dwelling at Civic # 2-6 Emberleys Road. The business
will occupy approx. 11 m2 of the total floor area of the existing dwelling and will operate at various
times during the week. The current zoning for this location is Residential Low Density which
permits Personal Service as a Discretionary Use. The Town of Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s
Development Regulations No. 33 and 102 requires the advertisement of a proposed Discretionary
Use. Any person(s), who feel that these applications may adversely affect them, should contact the

Town Office in writing on or before February 21st, 2018.
