Hardings Hill Park
Hardings Hill Playground is part of a new community space developed in the Town of Portugal Cove–St. Philip’s. Designed as a small neighbourhood park, the space focuses on creating a welcoming area for families, children, and residents to gather, relax, and connect with nature.

- Play Structure: A playground area designed for children to climb, explore, and play.
- Picnic Tables & Seating: Comfortable places for families and neighbours to gather and enjoy the outdoors. A memorial bench donated on behalf of William (Harry) and Pearl Rose.
- Community Garden: A shared space encouraging local gardening, sustainability, and community involvement.
- Open Green Space: An inviting environment for relaxation, mindfulness, and informal recreation.
Community Vision
The Hardings Hill space was created to provide a small but vibrant neighbourhood gathering place, giving residents a local spot to meet, play, and spend time outdoors. The design focuses on connection—both to the community and to the natural surroundings of Portugal Cove–St. Philip’s
