Building a Vision for Tourism in Portugal Cove – St. Philip’s:
Chamber of Commerce launching PCSP tourism planning process
The Chamber of Commerce, PCSP Town Council and Department of Tourism, Culture, Industry and Innovation are partnering for a series of three sessions designed to develop a vision that will support tourism and business development in Portugal Cove – St. Philip’s. We are asking all community groups, businesses and interested residents to play an active role in helping define, protect and develop our precious assets.

The first of three events will be:
Tourism Information Session (followed by Chamber of Commerce AGM)
Wednesday, January 9th
Murray’s Pond Fishing and Country Club
6:30 pm to 9:00 pm
The Department of Tourism, Culture, Innovation and Industry will present on tourism trends in the province. They will also showcase their tools and products for small business and discuss provincial and regional priorities for tourism. The planning process that we will undertake will be outlined and this session will provide a strong foundation for future workshops, while giving practical advice and information to existing and potential businesses.
