Vote-by-Mail is available to all residents upon request. How to request a Vote-by-Mail Kit:

What’s in the Kit
Your Vote-by-Mail Kit will include:
- Instruction Guide
- A ballot for Mayor, and a ballot for Councillor
- Declaration Form
- Ballot Secrecy Envelope
- Postage-Paid Envelope
Vote-by-Mail Deadlines and Delivery
If you registered to Vote-by-Mail, your return envelope from your Vote-by-Mail kit must be received by 8:00 pm on the day prior to Election Day to be accepted. Otherwise, you can void your Vote-by-Mail kit (return it to the polling station workers) and vote in-person on Election Day.
- Request deadline: Thursday, September 4th 2025 4:00 pm
Return Options:
- Mail: Place in a Canada Post box by Wednesday, September 24th, 2025
- Drop-Off: Town Hall secure drop box (Planning/Library entrance back of Town Hall building, 1119 Thorburn Road) from 8:00 am on Thursday, September 25th to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, October 1st, 2025.
- In-Person: Void your Vote-by-Mail kit and vote at the polls on Election Day.
Proxy Voting
If you are unable to vote at the Advance Poll or on Election Day, you may use Vote-by-Mail or Vote-by-Proxy. To vote-by-proxy simply means that another qualified voter in the same municipality is able to vote on your behalf.
- Submit your Proxy Voting Application by Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 4:00 pm, application will be made available soon.
- Once approved, a proxy certificate will be issued.
- The designated proxy must present the certificate at the polling station to vote on your behalf.
