Voisey’s Brook Park Upgrades
COMPLETED:
- The entrance and pathways from the parking lot to the soccer field, building, basketball court, and play structure have been paved for accessible access. These upgrades were completed in the fall of 2020.
- Repairs were made to the Voisey’s Brook Skate Park equipment in the late summer and fall of 2020. The Skate Park is once again fully opened for use. Annual inspections are completed on the Skate Park equipment as per the Canadian Playground Safety Institute (CPSI).
- To enhance the hours of operations of the Voisey’s Brook Dog Park to help accommodate varying schedules and increase accessibility for persons with varying work schedules, a street light was added to the Dog Park.
