PCSP Traffic Regulations – Draft

The Town has developed a set of draft Municipal Traffic Regulations in an effort to provide a safer community for all residents. The development of these draft regulations is the first step in the process of obtaining the authority to enforce non-moving traffic violations through our Municipal Enforcement Officers. The next step is to garner feedback from residents and therefore Council is asking for your input. Please review the draft regulations below and send Council your feedback for consideration. The feedback received will be used to inform revisions of the regulations which will be brought to Council for finalization and a decision to send to the Minister of Transportation and Works for review and to request delegated authority to enforce. Once the Order is received and the regulations are updated as per the Minister’s review, a Notice of Motion will be brought to a public Council meeting followed by adoption at a subsequent public Council meeting.

The regulations will be available for review and comment until 4:30pm Tuesday March 20th, 2018. Please check back regularly as we will post revised drafts throughout the feedback period.
