Stay Safe at Home and Babysitting Course Registration
The Town of Portugal Cove – St. Philip’s is holding a babysitting and Stay Stay at Home course!
Babysitting Course
Participants who are turning 11 in 2024 – 16 years old, can receive their Babysitting certification with our Babysitting program ☑️
Join us on Friday, April 5th, 2024 from 9:00 am – 4:30 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #10 for this one day course. Interested participants can register via eServices on Friday March 8th, 2024 at 9:00am and if space allows a date for non-residents will be announced. Participants are asked to complete the Babysitting Release form and Participant form by Monday, April 1st, 2024 and sent to [email protected]

Some reminders for course day:
- Wear comfortable clothing & footwear to participate in various activities.
- Bring your own lunch (allergy notices will be sent prior to). Snacks will be provided.
- Participants should bring a standard sized doll or stuffed bear to use during some of the activities.
- Complete the Babysitting Release form and Participant form by Monday, April 1st, 2024

Stay Safe at Home Course
Are you between the ages of 9-11? If so, check out our upcoming Stay Safe Course! Join us on Friday March 22nd, 2024, from 9:00 am – 3:30 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #10 to learn the skills to stay safe when you’re on your own at home or in the community.
Some reminders for course day:
- Participants, please wear comfortable clothing and footwear
- Bring their own lunch (snacks will be provided).
- All registration forms are to be completed by Monday March 18th, 2024 and sent to [email protected]
Registration will open on eServices Friday, March 8th, 2024 at 9:00am for residents. If space allows, a date for non-residents will be announced.
