Snowshoe Rental Program is Back for 2026!
Plan Ahead for Winter Weekends!
Enjoy a new way to explore winter with our snowshoe rental program! Take an unguided snowshoe adventure on over 5km of trails, see the various wildlife that live in our parks, and enjoy the outdoors. Residents can book snowshoes for $5 a day per pair or $10 a weekend (Friday to Monday) per pair.
How to Rent:
- Weekend rentals are available by pre-booking by emailing or calling Stacey.
- Each pair of snowshoes costs $5.00 a day per pair, or $10 per weekend (Friday to Monday) per pair.
- Equipment pick-up and drop-off will be Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
- During holidays, or changes in weather, a post will be made on our social media and website.
- Daily rentals must be returned that same day, and weekend rentals must be returned by 12 pm Monday.
- Any unreasonable or unnatural damage to the equipment may result in a fee, at the Town’s discretion, up to 100% cost to replace the equipment.
- The Town also has an Adaptive Snow Sled for use! When booking, let Stacey know you’re interested in the adaptive snow sled. There is no cost to rent the adaptive snow sled.
We have the following snowshoe sizes available to rent:

- 16/17 inch (children’s) – 40 to 80 lbs
- 19 inch – 50 to 90 lbs
- 21 inch – 80 to 120 lbs
- 25 inch – 110 to 160 lbs
- 28 inch – 150 to 190 lbs
- 30 inch – 160 to 210 lbs
- 36 inch – 210 to 260 lbs
