Santa Claus Parade Going Ahead: Sunday, December 8th 2025
This is Santa Claus calling in with a very jolly update, the PCSP Santa Claus Parade is officially a GO for Sunday, December 7th at 2:00pm! I can’t wait to visit your wonderful community and wave to all you merry folks along the parade route!
The elves helped me take a peek at your upcoming weather, and my oh my, it’s going to be beautiful but very cold! Make sure you bundle up in your coziest scarves and mittens, and bring along a cup of warm hot chocolate to enjoy while the parade passes by.
Here’s what you need to know, straight from the North Pole:
Parade Route:
We’ll be starting from the Arts, Wellness, Heritage (AWH) Centre at 5 R.C Church Drive, then jingling our way down Portugal Cove Road all the way to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #10 at 5 Legion Road.
You can view the full parade map, including the marked sensory friendly zone, accessible parking areas, and information for ferry users, right on the PCSP website!
Donations & Letters to Santa
My good friends at the PCSP Lions Club will be collecting letters for me, Santa (I can’t wait to read them!) and non-perishable food items for local food banks. Please make sure items are not expired, I’ve been told there’s been a number of expired items being donated and they must be thrown away. We want every donation to help someone in need!
Sensory Friendly Zone
A quiet, comfortable area with no sirens, no flashing lights, and low-volume music. It will be shown in yellow on the map.
Accessible Parking
Available at the PCSP Volunteer Fire Department (1819 Portugal Cove Road). Spaces are limited and first come, first serve.
Ho ho ho! I’ll see you all this Sunday. Stay warm, be kind, and let the magic of the season fill your hearts!
