Residential Road Snow Clearing

As winter has come upon us, we’d like to make note of which roads the Town is responsible for and which are a responsibility of the Province.

All residential roads are the Town’s responsibility for clearing, however the following list is the responsibility of the Department of Transportation and Works:

Provincial Government
Beachy Cove Road
Portugal Cove Road
Tucker’s Hill Road
Thorburn Road (from Tucker’s Hill out)
Old Broad Cove Road
Indian Meal Line
Bauline Line Extension
St. Thomas Line

City of St. John’s
Bennett’s Road (City of St. John’s is responsible for this road, 729-2489)
