Recreation Programs and Event Changes

Due to the ongoing situation with COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we have made the difficult decision to temporarily postpone all upcoming recreation programs in Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s.

The programs listed below are now postponed until further notice and we will reschedule when it is safe to do so:

• Easter Camp and Easter Camp Registration – An announcement will be made in the coming weeks about Easter Camp and whether or not it will be going ahead. At this time, registration is postponed until further notice, and we encourage all those interested to stay tuned on our website and social media channels for updates.
• Easter Egg Hunt – This event is postponed from the originally scheduled date of April 4th, a new date will be announced in the coming weeks.
• Babysitting Course – This event is postponed from the originally scheduled date of March 28th, a new date will be announced in the coming weeks.
• Stay Safe at Home Course – This event is postponed from the originally scheduled date of April 15th, a new date will be announced in the coming weeks.
• Spring Fitness Registration – Registration is postponed until further details are outlined on the closures of recreational facilities, schools, and gyms. Spring Fitness Registration will not be going ahead on the originally scheduled date of March 23^rd.

We thank all residents for their cooperation and understanding during this challenging time. We will be closely monitoring the situation and providing updates on our website on the status of all town recreation programming as soon as possible.
