Fire Ban Lifted for Jurisdiction of Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s
Effective immediately, the fire ban from May 30, 2025 for the jurisdiction of The Town of Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s has been lifted.
We thank all residents for your cooperation and understanding during the ban. As always, please continue to use caution and follow all fire safety guidelines when having backyard fires or using open flames. The Portugal Cove – St. Philip’s Volunteer Fire Department will continue to monitor conditions and the province fire hazard rating.
Permits are once again required for open-air fires.
