Fire Ban for Jurisdiction of Portugal Cove – St. Philip’s Volunteer Fire Department

Portugal Cove – St. Philip’s In light of the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador’s news release of June 28th, 2024, the Town of Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s would like to advise all residents that the fire ban, dated June 20, 2024, within the region which includes Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s has now been lifted effective immediately. Open fires are permitted, however, please check the Town website, pcsp.ca, for burning permit requirements. Fireworks (consumer and display) are now permissible, however, please ensure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions and take all precautions when using fireworks.
