Update: Compost Tumblers Now Sold Out

Update:

All composters have now sold out! Please check back in Spring 2022 for details on next year’s order.

Thank you all for making such an environmentally friendly choice and making a difference in our community. Happy Earth Day everyone!

Important: Please note that you must click on “events” under eServices to access the compost bins. They will not be visible until 9:00 am.

Mark your calendars, because composter sales are coming back in Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s! Beginning at 9am on Earth Day, April 22nd, 2021, residents of PCSP can purchase their own tumbler-style compost bin through eServices. Composting is a great way to cut down on your waste, while also creating a rich and natural fertilizer for your garden.

Limited quantities are available for purchase on a first come, first serve basis. If you plan to purchase a composter, we encourage you to ensure your eServices account is up-to-date in advance. If you are a resident and you have not yet used eServices to pay for a program in PCSP, you will be prompted to enter a “sign up key” the first time you use eServices. Please contact Joe Donkers, Accounting Technician, at 895-8000 (ext. 260) or [email protected] to receive your sign up key.

For those who purchase, composter tumblers will be available for pick up from the Town Hall on Tuesday, April 27th from 9am to 3pm and Wednesday, April 28th from 9am to 3pm. If you have any further questions, please contact Julie Pomeroy, Heritage and Environment Coordinator, at 895-8000 (ext. 229) or [email protected].
