Celebrating Earth Day 2020

Today is Earth Day! Each year on April 22nd, people all around the world celebrate this special day in support of protection for our environment.

The theme for this year is Climate Action. As a town, we are committed to learning and doing what we can to accommodate to the ever-changing world we live in. For the past couple of years, we have been working on multiple climate change themed projects. We have been working with community groups to assess any vulnerabilities we may have and create adaptation plans that will help us make future decisions. We have also been working on evaluating our energy usage and carbon footprint in an effort to make any changes we can.
