“Trunk or Treat” Event Set For October 26th, 2024

Event Overview

The Town of Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s is delighted to announce that we will be hosting a Trunk or Treat event with support from the local business community on Saturday, October 26th, 2024 in the Beachy Cove Elementary Parking Lot.

The event will take place from 1pm to 4pm, and the cost to attend is $2.00 per child. Proceeds from this event will support our local food banks! Attendees are encouraged to also bring along a non-perishable food bank item to donate at the gate.


Registration

Registration will open to PCSP residents on Wednesday, October 9th at 9:00am and if spaces allow, a date for non-residents will be annouced. Registration will take place via eServices.

When registering, please select from the DROPDOWN menu the correct number of children you will have in your car with the timeslot you wish to attend. Your registration will NOT be completed if you don’t select an option from the dropdown menu – please see the images for a visual explanation. Please only register for ONE time slot, as this has become a very popular event in the community our aim is to accommodate children during registration. A waitlist will become available once registration is full, but we cannot make any guarantees or special requests that spots will become available. There will be 2 time slots to choose from, outlined below:
 
🎃 Session 1: 1:00 pm – 2:15 pm
🎃 Session 2: 2:30 pm – 3:45 pm
 
In each time-slot, those registered will come in their costumes with their bags and collect all sorts of treats from decorated trunks that will be parked all around the school!

Registration Steps:

Step One:

  • Choose a time slot on the events page

Step Two:

  • SELECT THE DROP DOWN MENU TO SELECT TICKET TYPE and choose the number of CHILDREN that are coming in your vehicle who are “Trunk or Treating” (this is not for guardians or parents attending)
  • (Example. Franken Stein is coming as a guardian with three children, the ticket drop down should be set to three)

Step Three:

  • Only add one person on your account to the cart. This will reflect the correct fees. Then proceed to your cart and check out.
  • Only one person is required to be added to the cart, not each person attending.
  • Your registration will NOT be complete if you do not select from the DROP DOWN MENU
