Service Update: Garbage & Recycling Schedule Changes

Due to the forecasted inclement weather on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, the Town of Portugal Cove–St. Philip’s is adjusting upcoming garbage and recycling collection dates.

• Garbage & Recycling – Originally Scheduled for Wednesday, February 18
  Rescheduled to Saturday, February 21
• Garbage & Recycling – Originally Scheduled Thursday, February 12
  All garbage and recycling set for February 19, including previously postponed recycling routes, has been moved to Monday, February 23.
• Friday, February 20
  Collection will proceed as planned.

We ask that items be placed curbside by 8:30 am on the collection days and appreciate patience and understanding as we work to maintain service levels.
