Public Council Meeting Highlights: April 2, 2026

Proclamation for Volunteer Week

Volunteers are at the heart of our community. Across Portugal Cove – St. Philip’s, individuals of all ages are giving their time and talents to make this a place where people feel welcome, connected and supported. Whether it’s through sports, events, community groups or quiet acts of kindness behind the scenes, your efforts help create opportunities for residents of all ages and abilities to participate, belong and enjoy everything our town has to offer.

On behalf of Council and our entire community, thank you for the commitment you show each and every day. You choose to step forward, to lend a hand, and to make a difference—and that choice has a lasting impact on the people and places around you. Your generosity strengthens our community in ways that can’t always be measured but are always felt. We are truly grateful for all that you do.
