Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s Announces Results of 2025 Municipal Election

The Town of Portugal Cove–St. Philip’s is proud to announce the official results of the 2025 Municipal Election. The following individuals have been elected to serve on the Town Council for the 2025–2029 term:

  • Mayor: Dave Bartlett
  • Councillor: Kim Churchill
  • Councillor: Robert Stapleton
  • Councillor: Erin Gallant
  • Councillor: Wendy Squires-Ennis
  • Councillor: Gavin Will
  • Councillor: Keith Culleton

In addition, the Town wishes to express heartfelt thanks to the outgoing council for their years of leadership and service. Special recognition is extended to Mayor Carol McDonald, who is retiring. We wish Mayor McDonald all the best in her retirement and sincerely thank her for her many years of contributions to our Town.

Town staff look forward to supporting the newly elected Council in their work over the next four years to continue building a strong, sustainable, and welcoming community for all residents.
