PCSP Splash Pad is Open for the Longest Day of Play!

The PCSP Splash Pad is now Open for the 2025 Summer Season!

We’re thrilled to announce that the Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s Splash Pad is officially open for the season, just in time for the first day of summer and the Longest Day of Play!

Location and Hours

  • The PCSP Splash Pad is located in Rainbow Gully Park, next to Brookside Intermediate.
  • The splash pad will be operational during the summer months, Monday to Sunday from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm with the exception of Monday, June 23rd as Town Hall and Facilties will be closed in observance of National Indigenous Peoples Day
  • The splash pad will not be operational from 12:00 pm to 12:55 pm from Tuesday, June 24th to Thursday, June 26th to accommodate the school lunch hour.
  • Parking is available in Rainbow Gully Park, with accessible parking stalls.
  • This page will be updated with latest information and updates on the splash pad and it’s facilities.

Report vandalism, problems or concerns to 709-895-8000. In the event of an emergency, dial 911.

Splash Pad Rules

1.Area is unsupervised – all participants use at OWN RISK.

2.All children aged 10 and under MUST be supervised by an adult.

3.No running, rough-play, or climbing on structures permitted.

4.Swim diapers only, no regular diapers on the splash pad.

5.No food or drink permitted on splash pad, no glass permitted on grounds.

6.No animals permitted, with the exception of service animals on the splash pad

7.No bikes, scooters, skateboards, rollerblades, motorized bikes permitted.

8.No smoking, vaping, drugs or alcohol permitted or in immediate area.

9.Where there is inclement weather, the splash pad may close. In the event of thunder and/or lightning all persons must leave splash pad immediately.

10.Splash pad cannot be reserved for private use.

11.Persons violating any rules risk losing access and privileges to splash pad.

12.Please do not drink splash pad water. While it is recycled and treated, it is not for consumption.
