Now Hiring – Green Team (Summer Youth Employment)
The Town of Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s is seeking a Green Team Leader and Green Team Member for the summer of 2022!
The Green Team will be conducting field research in the Beachy Cove Brook System to catalogue bird species, mammals, insects, both aquatic and terrestrial, aquatic and terrestrial plants, fish species, and general characteristics of local landscape and geology. Using this information, they will develop a set of basic information modules for the Town to utilize and update over time. Additionally the Team will be investigating over enrichment in a local water system to explore mitigation opportunities.
