Local Athlete to Compete in National Soccer Tournament Hosted in NL
From October 9th to 13th, the 2019 Toyota National Soccer Championships will be held in Newfoundland and Labrador, with several games taking place at Rainbow Gully Soccer Field in Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s.
The Town of Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s is pleased to welcome players, coaches, and fans from:

- Ontario
- Saskatchewan
- Alberta
- Quebec
- Nova Scotia
- New Brunswick
- Manitoba
- Northwest Territories
Local athlete Stacey Hanlon of Portugal Cove- St. Philip’s will be playing with the NL 2 team, Fieldians Greensleeves, during the 2019 National Championship. One of the games hosted at the Rainbow Gully Soccer field will feature Stacey’s team playing host to the Alberta team. Everyone is encouraged to come out and support Stacey and her teammates on their journey to winning a national championship!
