Killick Coast Regional Public Transit Feasibility Study Public Survey Now Open!
The Town of Portugal Cove–St. Philip’s is proud to be working alongside our neighbouring communities on a regional feasibility study exploring the possibility of a public transit system for the Killick Coast.
This study includes input from residents across Torbay, Bauline, Flatrock, Bell Island (Wabana), Pouch Cove, Logy Bay–Middle Cove–Outer Cove, and PCSP, and now we need your voice!
We’re asking residents to complete a short survey designed to better understand local travel patterns, transportation needs, and interest in using a regional public transit service. Your feedback will help guide important decisions around routes, service models, ridership potential, and how a transit system could connect our communities or improve access to services in places like St. John’s.
The survey is intended for those who think they might use a public transit service at least occasionally. It takes just a few minutes to complete, and all responses are anonymous. Take the survey here: https://forms.gle/zRowUDQt2DninT3SA
Printed copies are also available at the Town of Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s Town Hall’s main entrance with our reception staff. Printed copies can be picked up during regular office hours, Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. The Town Hall is located on 1119 Thorburn Road.
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and help shape the future of transportation for our communities!
