Holiday Waste Collection Schedule Update
As we head into the holidays, please take note of the following temporary changes to your waste collection schedule, regular waste collection service will resume on January 6th, 2026.
Collection Date Changes
• Wednesday, December 24 will be both garbage and recycling
• Thursday, December 25 is moved ahead to Saturday, December 27
• Friday, December 26 is moved ahead to Monday, December 29
• Thursday, January 1, 2026 is moved ahead to Saturday, January 3, 2026
Friday, January 2, 2026 and Saturday, January 3, 2026 both garbage and recycling will be collected.
Earlier Set-Out Time
From Tuesday, December 23, 2025 to Saturday, January 3, 2026 residents are asked to place items for collection outside by 7:00 am due to shortened collection hours set by Robin Hood Bay.
