Free Seedlings Available for PCSP Residents

We have a wonderful opportunity for you to bring some greenery to your homes! Thanks to the Department of Fisheries, Forestry and Agriculture, and the Stewardship Association of Municipalities Inc (SAM), we have a mix of white and black spruce trees available for FREE!
Quantities of 2 per household will be available for pick-up from the PCSP Town Hall beginning Thursday, July 18. Visit the Town Hall during regular operating hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, while supplies last as limited quantities are available. The seedlings available are a mix of black spruce and white spruce.
Tree planting is a great opportunity to encourage public participation in forest related activities, raise awareness about the value of the province’s forest resources and help reduce the impacts associated with climate change.
