Dim the Lights for Birds at Night – Saturday, May 14th, 2022

In recognition of World Migratory Bird Day, the Town and the Advisory Committee on the Environment (ACE) are asking residents to dim or turn off unnecessary lights on Saturday May 14^th.

The 2022 World Migratory Bird Day theme is the impact of light pollution migrating birds. Participating in this campaign helps us bring awareness to the issues of birds navigating urban environments. Dimming lights and turning off nonessential lighting reduces the likelihood of them being distracted during their journeys.
