Day Camp Registration Rescheduled

At 10:00am this morning the Town of Portugal Cove – St. Philip’s opened online registration for the Summer Day Camps. Unfortunately, soon after it opened, unforeseen technical issues resulted in a number of problems with registration. As a result, a decision was made at 10:45am to cease registration for today.

It is our understanding that the process was not fair to all those who attempted to register. As a result, we have made the difficult decision to refund those who were able to register on your debit/credit card. All registrations from this morning are now void.

We will start the process over again so that everyone has a fair chance at registration. Also, we received a number of requests to change the time to better accommodate working families. The new registration date and time for Camp Little Gaffers and Camp Whaddya’ At will now be Thursday, May 24 at 8:30am.

The Town is currently working with our software provider to ensure this issue is resolved effectively for the new date and future registrations.
