Water services have resumed as of 2:30pm today, Monday, May 3rd. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to improve infrastructure in the community.

Residents in the affected area may notice some air in your water lines and discolouration when water service resumes. Please let your cold water tap run until the water is clear.

Please be advised that residents and businesses on town water on the following roads of Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s will be impacted by a water shut off on Monday, May 3rd, 2021 between 8:30am and 1pm:

  • Tolt Road (starting at Merrywood Estates)
  • Old Broad Cove Road
  • Portugal Cove Road
  • Beachy Cove Road and all side roads.

This water shut off is required to allow for water system upgrades. A map outlining the impacted area can be found below:

Please prepare for any water disruptions by having bottled water on hand for drinking, and fill bathtubs with water to use in toilets and for other household uses.
