Reminder of Ice Safety in PCSP
Both The Town of Portugal Cove – St. Philip’s and the Portugal Cove – St. Philip’s Volunteer Fire Department have had two incidents over the last several days that individuals are playing near or on ice-covered ponds in Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s
While temperatures may be cold, the ice may not be thick or stable enough for use yet.

We will continue to provide updates on ice conditions, and encourage all to take pre-cautions when it comes to ice safety.
