PCSP Christmas Parade is Going Ahead, Sunday December 8th
Ho, Ho, Ho, this is Santa Claus! I’m on my way from the North Pole to join you today for the PCSP Christmas Parade!
Join me and the PCSP elves today December 8th at 2 PM for the magical PCSP Christmas Parade! Starting at the St. Philip’s Marina, we’ll travel along Thorburn Road and finish on Rainbow Gully Road. Don’t forget your letters for me—my wonderful helpers from the PCSP Lions Club will be collecting them along the route. Elves along the route will also be gathering non-perishable food donations to share the holiday cheer! We’ll also have a photographer taking photos of the festivities today, please tell him if you don’t want to have your photo taken.
This year, the elves at the North Pole have arranged something extra special: a Sensory-Friendly Zone! Marked in yellow on the route map, this area will have no sirens, no flashing lights, and soft music to create a calm and joyful atmosphere. Plus, there’s accessible parking available at the PCSP Fire Station on Thorburn Road, but be quick—spaces are limited and first-come, first-served!
For everyone coming to watch, please note that Thorburn Road will be closed between 1:30 PM and 4:00 PM for everyone’s safety. The parade will have rolling road closures, once the route passes by, the road will re-open! Look for signage and friendly traffic control staff along the route—they’re here to make sure the magic flows smoothly. Mark your calendars, gather your loved ones, and get ready for an afternoon filled with holiday cheer!
