June is Recreation Month

Celebrated annually in June, Recreation Month is dedicated to reinstating the importance of actively participating in recreation throughout various communities in the province.  It is a fun and exciting way to celebrate recreation and promote its many benefits to individuals, families and communities.

Take Part in our Challenges All Month Long, and You Could Win!

Portugal Cove-St.Philip’s; It’s time to get out & get active! June is Recreation Month and we want to see you getting out & active by participating in our activity challenge! Each week, complete some or all of weekly challenges that’ll have you staying active and you could win! Each challenge completed will give you an entry into the weekly prize draw, plus each time you complete a challenge throughout the month, you will receive an entry into our grand prize draw!

Submit a photo or short video clip to Kirk at the end of each week to be entered into our weekly prize draw. For each challenge you complete throughout the month, you’ll be entered to our grand prize draw at the end of June!

Take part this June in Recreation Month! Recreation goes beyond sports, it can also be reading a book, learning a new craft, or taking part in a science experiment. Celebrate with us in the PCSP Library, and you could win a prize pack!

Download a book bingo sheet below, and start the challenge! Read all the books listed on the bingo sheet, take a picture and send it to Mike to be entered into our prize draw. Submit your completed book bingo by Tuesday, June 30 – winners will be announced on Thursday, July 2nd!
