The Best of PCSP Awards is an annual celebration hosted by the Town of Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s to recognize the exceptional individuals, businesses, and community groups that contribute to the town’s vibrant character. The awards serve as the community’s premier platform for honouring excellence in volunteerism, leadership, and local commerce.
Nominees are put forward by members of the community across various categories, including Volunteer of the Year, Service Group of the Year, and the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award. Winners are selected based on their impact on the town, their dedication to public service, and their role in fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for all residents.

Scholarship Opportunities
In addition to the Best of PCSP Awards, we are pleased to offer scholarship opportunities to support local students in their post-secondary pursuits.
PCSP Municipal Scholarship ($1,000)
This scholarship recognizes a graduating Level 3 secondary student from Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s who is beginning post-secondary studies in Fall 2026.
