Town Hall and Facilities Closure: National Day for Truth and Reconciliation Day

On Tuesday, September 30th, the Town Office and facilities (including park washrooms) will be closed in recognition of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
To mark this important day, an orange flag has been raised at the Town Office and throughout this year, we have purchased many books for children and adults on the importance of Orange Shirt Day, Indigenous history, reconciliation, and more that can be found in the PCSP Library. Today and everyday, we encourage all residents to wear orange, take time to reflect, and honour the thousands of Survivors of residential schools. The PCSP Library will be open for regular hours beginning Wednesday, October 1st where you can check out these important and informative books.
We also encourage everyone to avail of the many educational resources available via local Indigenous organization, @firstlightnl and take part in events throughout the day
