No. 15 Chesley Van Heights – Residential Business Application

The Town of Portugal Cove – St. Philip’s has received an application to operate a transportation service as a residential business from an existing dwelling at No. 15 Chesley Van Heights. The business, run by a resident, will operate two mini-buses providing scheduled round trips daily, Monday through Saturday, 6:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. The service will offer pick-up and drop-off at key locations throughout Portugal Cove–St. Philip’s. No client visits will occur at the dwelling, and off-street parking will be provided on-site. The proposed use is classified as Office which is listed as a discretionary use in the Residential Low Density land use zone.  Development Regulations No. 33 and 102 requires the advertisement of proposed Discretionary Uses. Any person(s), who feel that this application may adversely affect them, should contact the Town Office in writing on or before September 1, 2026.
