Notice of Traffic Impacts – Sunday, August 9

Residents are advised that two road races are taking place in our community on Sunday, August 9; the Dory Dash 5K Run and the Sunshine Triathlon.

No roads will be closed, but increased runner and cyclist traffic is expected in these areas:

• Dory Dash 5K Run: Olivers Pond Road, Witch Hazel Road, Beachy Cove Road, and Beachy Cove Elementary.

• Sunshine Triathlon: Bennetts Road, Thorburn Road, Tolt Road, Old Broad Cove Road, and the Sunshine Camp / Healey’s Pond area. For full race details including the race map, visit @triathlon.nl or visit their website, https://www.trinl.com/sunshine-triathlon/

We ask that motorists in the area use caution when navigating these areas, and encourage residents to plan ahead and use alternate routes. Thank you for your patience and cooperation, as we work to maintain traffic flow throughout our community and support community events.
