About Take Action on Radon
Take Action on Radon is a national program dedicated to raising awareness about radon across Canada. The initiative is led by the Canadian Association of Radon Scientists and Technologists (CARST) and the Canadian Cancer Society. Radon, a known human carcinogen, is a naturally occurring colourless and odourless gas that can enter homes and buildings through contact with the ground and can build up to elevated levels without proper venting.
