Waste Collection Update: February 14th and February 15th
Due to the recent weather conditions that occurred on Wednesday, February 14th, and Thursday, February 15th, there has been changes to waste collection for residents on the disrupted collection dates.
Collection for Wednesday, February 14th
Residents whose collection was originally scheduled for Wednesday, February 14th will now be collected on Saturday, February 17th. Please place items for collection in garbage boxes by 7:30 am, free of snow and ice to support waste collection efforts as the Robin Hood Bay landfill closes at 12:00 pm.
Collection for Thursday, February 15th
Residents whose collection was originally scheduled for Thursday, February 15th will now be collection on Monday, February 19th. At this time, we are expecting another winter system to move through this area Saturday night into Sunday. Due to the system, please place items for collection in garbage boxes by 8:30 am, free of snow and ice to support waste collection efforts.
We appreciate all residents patience and kindness, as our staff and crews continue to work with major weather events. We have staff and crews scheduled to respond during and after major weather events.
