Orienteering is Back at Voisey’s Brook Park!
Orienteering is an outdoor activity that challenges participants to use their navigation and map reading skills to find orienteering signs located around our Voisey’s Brook trail system. The signs are 5×5 inch pictures of animals attached on trees throughout Voisey’s Brook Park. The signs are visible from the walking trail, no more than 5ft from the trails edge and no more than 5ft off the ground.
Objective: Using the map we provided, find all 20 signs located around the walking trails. The location of each sign is represented on the map by a yellow number and will have a corresponding animal pictured on the sign. For example, if you’re looking for sign #6 and find a Beaver picture, then #6 is a Beaver. Try to find as many of the 20 numbers as you can!
Submit answers and/or pictures of participating in the activity to [email protected] by February 28th, 2025 to see how many answers you have correct and be entered into our prize draw! The winner will receive a PCSP prize pack and a $50 gift card!
