Free Seedlings Available for PCSP Residents

Thanks to the provincial Department of Fisheries, Forestry and Agriculture, we will have FREE black spruce seedlings available at the Town Office for PCSP residents! For one week only, from Monday, August 8^th to Friday, August 12^th, 2022, residents can visit the Town Office during business hours from 8:30am to 4:00pm to pick up six free seedlings per family. While supplies last, limited quantities available. The seedlings available are a mix of black spruce and white spruce.

Tree planting is a great opportunity to encourage public participation in forest related activities, raise awareness about the value of the province’s forest resources and help reduce the impacts associated with climate change.
